The established flagship of the plastic welding range, the Leister WELDPLAST S2 is a truly fantastic hand extruder that will enable you to weld plastic materials of all types, particularly HDPE and PP. There is also a PVC version available that will weld all main thermoplastics as well as handling the corrosive nature of PVC.

The Leister Weldplast S2 hand extruder provides the plastic welding professional with a suite of fully manual settings to be able to control exactly the temperature and blower speeds independently of each other. This means that the operator now has total control over optimising the best hot air tool set-up for welding all types of rigid plastic materials from different material manufacturers.

As well as being an example of excellent design, the Leister Weldplast S2 is ergonomic in its measurement credentials, with a length of only 45mm and weight of 5.8kg, making it ideal for use all day long without operator fatigue. Enabling a welding speed of up to 2.5kg of extruded plastic material per hour, the adjustable hand grip it is very comfortable to work with, and combined with the double-sided and twist-free rod feeder the Leister S2 extruder provides the best all round performance for all professional plastic fabricators.
