What is ISKT22 - Polyimide Film Adhesive Kapton Tape?

Polyimide tape is an amber-coloured adhesive tape designed for high-temperature applications. The polyimide material is chemical resistant and flame-retardant it helps safeguard surfaces during manufacture and lowers the cost of fixing or replacing those surfaces. It is also known as Kapton Tape.

This high-temperature film offers optimum performance in electrical and thermal insulation, in particular in masking of gold fingers on circuit boards during wave soldering. Its excellent release properties, also mean it can be used in the powder coating industries.

It offers flame-resistant electrical insulation and can be used as a wire and cable wrap, as well as for solder masks for circuit boards.
