Our Hilexh kits come supplied with either 5 or 10 metres of our white HILEXH Fibreglass Exhaust Wrap, and include 10 stainless steel Cable Ties to ensure your wrap is secured tightly.

The kit is ideal for both performance fans and everyday drivers, and contains everything you need for insulating exhaust downpipes and manifolds, ensuring they stay fixed in place.

How to apply exhaust heat wrap – a quick 6 point guide.

  1. Remove the exhaust and clean off any rust etc.
  2. If you have some, coat the exhaust in a rust inhibitor.
  3. Moisten the wrap a little and then begin wrapping, securing the tail end with one of the supplied cable ties and keeping the engine end covered with the next layer.
  4. Keep wrapping, moistening as you go and keeping it tight.
  5. Wrap close to the exhaust header, using a cable tie. You might need two at the engine end for stability.
  6. Refit the exhaust and run the engine for twenty minutes to burn off any moisture and tighten the wrap
