Pyrotape is a flexible, knitted glass tape, which is designed to protect wires, cables and hoses from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame. Pyrotape withstands intense heat and flame and sheds molten splash immediately. They also provide excellent insulating properties and offer protection from personal burns when working near hot gases, steam lines etc. They are good for "Retro-fitting" when, for example, uncoupling hoses is not a viable option.
