Heat shrink tubing (often referred to as just heat shrink) is an exceptionally simple concept but invaluable for many within the electrical industry.
Heat shrink tubing is designed to slip over wires and then ’shrink’ tightly over the defined area to insulate and provide strength and resistance to abrasion. It can be used for general insulation purposes, ‘fixes’ to corroded insulation areas or just to bundle a group of wires together.
