Our Flame Retardant Black Semi-Flexible Dual-Wall Heat Shrink has been specifically designed to offer superior environmental protection to a wide range of shapes with irregular dimensions due to its high shrink ratio. It is typically used to seal and protect the back shell of connectors, breakouts and connector to cable transition, as the high-temperature inner adhesive lining forms a strong bond to a variety of materials.
Flame retardant jacket
Perfect for awkwardly shaped connectors
High-strength bonding due to inner adhesive lining
Fit over larger connectors and still ensure environmental sealing
Designed to provide environmental sealing for a range of substrates, at elevated temperatures. Manufactured by Te Connectivity Electronics from radiation-crosslinked polyolefins, the inner wall melts when heated and is forced into interstices by the shrinking of the outer wall so that, when cooled, the substrate is encapsulated by a tough, protective moisture barrier.
An operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, and a high-shrink ratio as standard means that the tubing offers superior environmental protection to a wide range of irregular shapes with varying dimensions. The jacket is flame-retardant to reduce flame propagation.
