Kynar is an extremely tough, high temperature, thin wall insulation tubing. This transparent, non-burning, semi-rigid tubing has superior resistance to most industrial fuels, solvents and chemicals. Kynar heat shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride sleeving is a thin wall material that has an appreciably higher working temperature than the standard heat shrinkable polyolefin materials. It has a high tensile strength and good resistance to chemicals and solvents. Its uses include strain relief, abrasion resistance and a tough protector. Ideal for use in hostile environments.

Made up of a Polyvinylidene fluoride heat shrink tube, the Kynar Heat Shrink is PBDE-Free & highly chemical resistant! It provides superior protection against aggressive fluids as well as mechanical abrasion.

Features and benefits

  • High shrink ratio of 2:1 makes for extremely easy installation

  • Highly Flame Retardant and able to withstand abrasion and cut-through

  • Often used in Military applications due to its specifications

  • Aerospace applications this material provides elite protection against the toughest, most intense applications & environments

  • Direct equivalent to KY 175 / RW 175

  • Semi-rigid Heat Shrink Tube

Designed for applications requiring strain relief at high temperatures up to 175°C, this product is unusually tough in its resistance to abrasion and cut through. Typical applications include high temperature applications, protection, strain relief, chemical resistance, mechanical and abrasion protection.

Supplied in Clear as Standard.
