TE-Connectivity EAKT16 solderless earthing kits are required to effectively earth the copper tape screen XLPE or EPR insulated cables without the need for soldering. Each TE-Connectivity earthing kit contains 3 copper flexible braids with soldered water-block and constant force springs.

Raychem solderless earth spring kits for 3 core XLPE cables. Designed for mechanically earthing plastic cables and to mechanically earth the copper tape screens of XLPE cables.

Conductor Size:

  • EAKT1655 = Conductor Size 16-50mm²
  • EAKT1656 = Conductor size 70-150mm²
  • EAKT1657 = Conductor size 185-240mm²
  • EAKT1658 = Conductor size 300-630mm²

Kit Contents:

  • 1 x Roll spring for each phase
  • 3 x Tinned copper earth braids
