Osprey Heatshrink Tube Processing Machine

The latest development in heat shrink tube processing technology, the Osprey device, has been developed in-house using state-of-the-art CAD 3-D modelling and flow simulation software.

Combining the Osprey Heatshrink Tube Processing Machine with a Steinel Heat gun results in faster and more consistent shrink results every time, without the need to turn the wire during operation.

The ergonomically designed support stand securely holds the head and heat gun for improved safety.

Steinel HG 2320 E Hot Air Gun

The electronically controlled HG2320E hot air tool offers precision digital control. 1400 W, digital temperature setting by joystick from 80 - 650°C, temperature indicated in 10°C steps on LCD. Airflow regulation in 2 stages of 150 and 500 I/min.

The digital precision tool for temperature-critical materials. The 1400 W HG2320E hot air tool is easily detachable from the Osprey and is fitted with a 3 m cable, making it perfectly equipped for jobs that demand greater freedom of movement, if needed.

The ceramic heaters’ temperature can be infinitely varied over a range of 80°C - 650°C at the thumbwheel.

Integrated thermal cut-out eliminates the risk of overheating.

Airflow can be controlled in 2 stages from 150 - 500 I/min.

At just 1030 g (without power cord), the HG2320E Hot air tool is one of the lightest weights in its performance category.

Installation instructions

Set up is easy; simply insert the gun outlet into the opening nozzle of the Osprey head, tighten the two locking screws provided, sit into the support stand using the hardened steel shoulder bolts, you are ready to start processing.
