It is made from lead-free PVC polymer with hard-grade insulation and copper conductors, making the cable more resistant to petrol, chemicals, abrasion, and corrosion.
It has a reduced insulation thickness and an increased current-carrying capacity, ensuring a noticeable reduction in weight and volume, which aids the application process—particularly relevant as cars become smaller, and complex wiring harnesses require careful space utilisation.
With a wide operating temperature range reaching up to +105°C and on excursions up to +120°C, the thin wall cable is suitable for 12v and 24v systems with a maximum voltage of 60v. It is manufactured in the UK and specified as standard by manufacturers throughout Europe due to its high-performance characteristics.
