Hilltop Scores With ITN And The EFL

Hilltop Products brought it home for production company ITN Productions last month, providing bespoke printed products to be used in TV coverage of the EFL.

As England’s World Cup campaign was gathering pace in Russia, the Hilltop team were supporting ITN following their successful groundbreaking bid to broadcast our domestic Football League with the expansion of a fibre-optic network linking its 72 clubs.

ITN’s Principal Solutions Architect approached Hilltop to provide a custom printed identification solution, whatever guise was taken the solution must involve a quality high resolution marking containing the EFL logo.

Our team sized up the problem and provided several suggestions, samples and examples of various identification solutions in a bid to ensure the customer got exactly what they were looking for.

Eventually, the Solutions Architect was happy with the design and quality of the markings, the first off initial substantial order was placed and manufactured within our Warrington site and delivered on time to ITN production team in London.

Hilltop Products Managing Director Steve Hill said, "Always very pleasing to receive such enquiries, even more so to be successful and go on for our company being chosen to work with such a prestigious and household name as the ITN corporation. However possibly even more pleasing is that the Hilltop team delivered there promise of the right solution and all importantly on time to a tight deadline, proud of them all for their commitment.

We now all look forward to being of continued of service to the ITN production team as they press in forward with this Multi Million pound investment of their fibre-optic network across our all the ETL clubs,  no doubt some challenging but exciting times lay ahead.”

The creative production arm of ITN Productions also films and edits all match footage for the second-tier league, capturing all the goals for Channel 5’s prime time Saturday night highlights show.

The ongoing future broadcasting of Football League highlights at 9.00pm on a Saturday night was made possible by the installation of a high-speed fibre-optic cable network, this connecting all Championship, League One and League Two football grounds to one central broadcasting hub.
