HMS FLY
Lloyd, an avid creator of model kits, had decided to go the extra mile when constructing HMS Fly by “incorporating the Great Cabin, Stateroom and Coach Cabin” into this 18th-century Royal Navy escort ship.
When undertaking the construction of this intricate design, Lloyd had noticed the significant lack of information on how to complete such a task. Thus, he decided to create a ‘bible’ which would help other modellers alike.
To create the Great Cabin Table, Lloyd manipulated Hilltop’s PVC Sleeving (PV10-0.5-0-CLS), which offers more significant support and protection to this design. By adding this subtle detail to the overall layout, Lloyd helped bring this ship to life.
Lloyd has found alternative uses for our PVC Sleeving (PV10-0.5-0-CLS and PV30-0.5-2-CLS), further manipulating them into ‘rigging the Cannon Carriages’.
