Flexible Nylon Hose
Our Flexible Nylon Hose Tube is supplied in a range of up to 11 colours, and natural (opaque). Other colours are available by request.
Manufactured with a flexible, plasticised, high viscosity extrusion grade of Polymide 12 (PA12) which is impact modified and heat and UV stabilised. Our Flexible Nylon is therefore low weight, flexible, and of low density.
The recommended operating temperatures for Flexible Nylon are between -40°C and +80°C constant and up to +110°C intermittent. The material has a working pressure of 247 PSI (18 Bar) with a burst pressure of 989 PSI (71 Bar) and a Bend Radius of 200mm.
The Flexible Nylon Hose Tubing has good chemical resistance to Bleach when in ambient temperatures of 20°C, but is rated poor resistance when in temperatures of 60°C so temperature must be taken into account.
We stock a comprehensive range of Flexible Nylon Tube PA12 from 1.5mm I/D to 28mm O/D in metric sizes.
All our (PA12) Flexible Nylon tubing conforms to the following standards:
- ISO 7628
- DIN 74323
- DIN 73378
- S.M.M.T C2C
- ISO-TC 22SC/2
- BS 5409 (Part 1)
- SAE J844 (Type A)
- SAE J1394 (Type A)
- DIN 74324 (Parts 1 & 2)

Working Pressures
This figure is based on the theoretical burst pressure at 20°C, using a safety factor 4:1. Any increase in temperature above 20°C will result in a decrease in pressure capabilities.
